✨Provider Spotlight: Meet Dr. Simi Cadmus✨

Born in Nigeria and raised across continents, Dr. Cadmus brings a global perspective and deep passion for dermatology to Central Austin Dermatology & Aesthetics.

After earning her degree in Brain, Behavior, and Cognitive Science from the University of Michigan, Dr. Cadmus studied abroad in France and China before continuing her medical journey. She completed a Master of Science at Drexel University, earned her medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and went on to complete her dermatology residency in Austin, where she served as Chief Resident at Dell Medical School.

Her professional interests include surgical dermatology, hair loss, and cosmetics — and she’s especially passionate about advancing care for diverse skin tones.

When she’s not in the clinic, you’ll find her exploring Austin’s food scene, enjoying time with her family, binge-watching a good show, or planning her next travel adventure.

Courtney grew up in a small Texas town where her passion for medicine was sparked by her father, a local physician. After earning a marketing degree from UT Austin, she followed her true calling and became a certified physician assistant through UT Southwestern.

She brings over 8 years of dermatology experience (including a Best Dermatologist award in Hays County!) and is thrilled to now serve patients in ATX. Courtney believes in building real relationships with her patients — and loves helping them feel confident in their skin.
