If you have taken an SSRI during pregnancy and experienced birth complications such as preterm birth, miscarriages, low birth weight, postpartum hemorrhage, etc or your baby went through SSRI withdrawal (aks neonatal adaptation syndrome) or had developmental delays such as autism, ADHD etc, please consider sharing your comments on this FDA petition to get better warning labels for child bearing age women and antidepressant use during pregnancy.

Did you know that some people who stop taking antidepressants experience major withdrawal symptoms? ⁣

For some people who have taken an ssri for longer than 6 months, and do not slowly taper and titrate off, they encounter debilitating physical issues. This keeps them stuck on the drug in order to avoid withdrawal. ⁣
⁣
There are many cases of people with the MTHFR gene mutations seem to struggle more with stopping ssris, due to impaired detoxification ⁣pathways.
