✨ 4 Things You Might Not Know About Dr. Schaefer ✨
1️⃣ He’s a fourth-generation Austinite! 🤠When Dr. Schaefer joined his dermatology practice in 1987, he discovered patient charts from four generations of physicians in his family: himself, his father, his grandfather, and his great-grandfather. Talk about a family legacy! 🩺💙
2️⃣ His first TV appearance was in 5th grade! 📺⭐Back in 1968, KLRU selected Dr. Schaefer to represent Brentwood Elementary on a televised academic competition called Who Knows the Answer? According to him… they definitely should have won. 😄🏆
3️⃣ He could’ve been a master plumber! 🔧🚰From sophomore year of high school through senior year of college, Dr. Schaefer worked every summer as a plumber, logging enough hands-on hours to qualify as a Master Plumber. That experience also helped inspire his path to becoming a physician! 👨⚕️
4️⃣ His first patient was a cow! 🐄💉The very first shot Dr. Schaefer ever gave wasn’t to a person, it was to a cow. His official review? Humans are much more compliant. 😂
