Hub Learning Community

Hub Learning Community Hub Learning Community (HLC) is a resource for professionals supporting individuals with Intellectual and Development Disabilities (IDD).

The Medical, Behavioral, and Psychiatric Technical Assistance Hub Program has allowed for the creation of the Hub Learning Community (HLC), a consultative resource for professional supporting individuals with Intellectual and Development Disabilities (IDD). The services provided through the HLC are FREE to HCS, TxHmL, and LIDDA IDD professionals. The services consist of:
- Education: a series of trainings that are valuable for HCS, TxHmL and LIDDA professionals regarding the needs and challenged faced by individuals with IDD.
- Technical Assistance: requested assistance from IDD professions to learn more about a specific diagnosis or medical disorders.
- Consultative Case Review: problem solving difficult cases by analyzing case information then offering professional guidance, possible service linkages and recommendations. Any HCS, TxHmL, or LIDDA IDD professional supporting an individual living in DADS waiver area 6 may request these services by obtaining a referral form via email at hlc@atcic.org or calling 1-800-906-7820.
