TAFP 2024 rewind: The third cohort of the Resident Leadership Experience began its work this year! This third class of residents will continue working on their leadership skills into 2025 and will graduate from the program in April.

TAFP 2024 rewind: The TAFP Foundation funded 45 scholarships for medical students to attend AAFP’s National Conference in Kansas City in August. TAFP hosted a killer reception while there for students, residents, and faculty.

We are incredibly proud of Bich-May Nguyen, MD, MPH, FAAFP who has been awarded the Texas Academy of Family Physicians Diversity and Health Equity Leadership Award.

Dr. Sarah Ash*tey works in a group private practice in Dallas, where she serves a diverse patient population and incorporates integrative medicine to care for the whole patient. Her childhood in West Africa planted the seed that would one day lead to her career in community medicine and advocating for access to care.
