Congrats to TAFP member Dr. Amanda Mohammed-Strait on leading a 1,000+ person Walk With A Doc!

On Sept. 27, a Walk with a Doc Dallas chapter welcomed the most participants it’s had in seven years: nearly 1,000 attendees. “It was inspiring to see so many families, children, local physicians, and community partners walking side by side. The energy and engagement reminded me why this initiative continues to grow stronger each year,” walk leader Amanda Mohammed Strait, MD, wrote on social media. She opened the activity with a talk on heart health, the benefits of regular exercise, and reading food labels carefully. The event had support from Wheels of Giving, a health nonprofit.
