It’s completely normal for the nose to remain numb three months after rhinoplasty. During surgery, small sensory nerves are temporarily disrupted as the framework of the nose is refined. Sensation returns gradually as those nerves regenerate — sometimes it takes up to a year for full feeling to return.

The process is slow, but it’s a sign of healing. As swelling subsides and sensitivity returns, the definition and natural softness of the nose continue to refine as well.
