Don’t forget to stop by VCA Aventura Animal Hospital this Thursday, December 18, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM for FREE photos with Santa Claus!

Santa will be stopping by with special goodies for your pets, and we’ll also have fun holiday refreshments available. You can also receive a printed copy of your pet’s photo with Santa to take home to remember the day!

You don’t need to be a current client to participate! However if it’s your pet’s first visit and you’d like to schedule an exam with a doctor while you meet Santa, we’re happy to offer a FREE first exam. During your that first free exam visit, you’ll meet some of our awesome staff, you can tour our facility, and enjoy an initial consultation with one of our veterinarians for free where they perform a physical exam! Plus you’ll go home with a complimentary bag of pet food, a free first dose of prevention, and even more goodies!

Aventura! Say hello to the handsome Draco! 💙

This little guy is an Alaskan Klee Kai (often confused with a miniature Husky!). We were so happy to see him today.

🐾 They are known as “miniature Huskies” but are their own unique, distinct breed developed in the 1970s

🐾 “Klee Kai” is an Alaskan term meaning “small dog.”

🐾 They are famous for their expressive facial masks and piercing eyes, just like Draco’s!

🐾 They are excellent companion dogs—loyal, intelligent, and generally very clean (they groom themselves like cats!).

Please join us in welcoming Andres Arzube, our new Veterinary Assistant at VCA Aventura Animal Hospital! 🐾

Originally from the beautiful coastal city of Guayaquil, Ecuador, Andres grew up spending his days by the beach and has always had a deep love for animals. 🏖️🐕

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a second major in Applied Natural Sciences from FIU, and fun fact: his dog Panther was named after the university’s mascot and came into his life the same day he graduated! 🎓🐾

Before joining us, Andres worked at an animal shelter where he helped give countless pets a second chance at a happy life. His passion for animal care and helping others truly shines through in everything he does. ❤️
When he’s not caring for pets, you can find him camping, taking road trips with his partner, or relaxing by the ocean. 🌊

We’re so excited to have Andres on the team, be sure to say hi when you see him around the hospital! 👋🐶🐱
