Like many inventions, the HearClip™ came about through necessity and the inability to find something else like it anywhere in the marketplace. After receiving the bone-anchored hearing aid (BAHA) implant, there were several occasions where the hearing aid became detached from the abutment and fell to the ground or floor. I tried to use the elastic safety line & alligator clip that came with the hearing aid, but quickly gave up trying to string the elastic band through the holes provided in the hearing aid. Instead, I came up with what I felt was a better solution ... the HearClip™ ! It easily and directly attaches the hearing aid to my ear. The HearClip™ is a fashionable alternative to the above mentioned safety line provided with the unit. It has served as a retention device for me, and I feel it is much more visually appealing than the elastic safety line/strap. There have been several times the HearClip™ has saved my hearing aid from falling to the ground or floor.

I had a dissatisfied customer who had an order arrive with a damaged connector. I responded to all of her increasingly demanding emails without any response from her. She finally contacted me through Facebook and I would have been more than happy to replace the item until her posts became increasingly hostile. When someone posts the information showing that they have repeatedly tried to contact you, you don't double down on claiming they have horrible customer service . Some people ... anyway, you may see a disgruntled Karen in the Cochlear and Hearing Impaired groups complaining about The HearClip. Please IM me if you have any questions. Oh ... and yes, our phone works I don't know where that is coming from.
