I remember sitting in the fertility clinic, listening to 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow' and thinking about what a perfect song it was. It gave me such a profound sense of hope.

While St. Patrick’s Day has become a fun tradition of leprechauns, gold and rainbows, its deeper essence is about faith and the belief that there is a plan for our lives. Just as the rainbow symbolized the end of the flood, it remains a symbol of miracles. Alyce is my miracle.

Yesterday, I had the privilege of reading to her class. It was a surreal, beautiful moment. Reflecting on the days when I feared I might never have a child, and then finding myself there—reading to my daughter and her classmates, inspiring those little minds—it was truly amazing.

Top of the morning to ya! 🪄🍀

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! 🍀

So far, 176 copies of my book have been sold! Here’s the breakdown:
• 157 copies sold on Amazon in the U.S.
• 2 copies purchased in Canada through Amazon
• 16 books sold at my very first book reading and signing
• 1 private sale

It truly feels like a pivotal moment for me to pause and thank God, and reflect on the teachings and spirit of Saint Patrick.

Reaching a goal takes hard work and time, but I truly believe God cheers on effort, perseverance, and positive change.

And this morning… we did not catch the leprechaun! He left tiny green footprints around the house and even some green p*e in the toilet 😂 The kids thought it was hilarious.

Feeling blessed, grateful, and excited for what’s ahead. ☘️✨

Two more days until St. Patrick’s Day! 🍀

Today I have my second reading — this time with a local Girl Scout troop.

The Leprechaun Who Stayed for the Day is not just a book.

It inspires little minds to create.
It’s a reminder of togetherness.
It’s a memory I hope all of my readers will hold onto.

This moment also feels very personal to me. I was a Girl Scout for a short time as a kid. With 11 siblings, it was hard for my parents to afford many extracurricular activities. Honestly, it’s hard doing it with just two kids!

As a mom, I now have a completely different appreciation for my own mom — a true superhero and one of my greatest inspirations. Recently she reminded me that the little girl inside of me is still there… and she’s right.

Never dull the magic that lives inside of you. ✨
Girl Scouts teach girls to be unapologetically themselves — something I’m still learning too.

Four more days until St. Patrick’s Day and just ONE day until my very first book reading and signing! ☘️📚
I was looking over the RSVPs and we have 20+ kids coming! I have never been so excited. Tomorrow is going to be a day not only I will remember forever, but one the kids will too.

Everything will be full of St. Patrick’s Day magic! We’ll have festive decorations, including a really fun balloon arch, coloring sheets from my book for the kids to enjoy, a special four-leaf clover for each child, and even a tiny leprechaun for parents to place out on St. Patrick’s Day morning for their kiddos!

As I was getting ready this morning, I thought about that question we were always asked as kids:
“What do you want to be when you grow up?”
I always said I wanted to be an artist or an author. I wanted to write a book. And I actually did write one back then called My Family on a Whale.

Top secret… I’ve finally rewritten that book, and I plan to read it tomorrow. It will take some time to publish because I plan to illustrate it completely myself, and it’s deeply personal to me. I want to make sure it’s absolutely perfect. 🐳✨
