Day 2 of Generation of Innovation 🌭🍔📺

We kicked things off with a tasty cookout—burgers and hot dogs all around! ✨Our bi-annual week event “Generation of Innovation”✨

Day one - we launched our special week with a focus on transportation. Our day was how transportation has changed over the generation.

We began our afternoon with a High Tea Social. Our culinary team and Sous Chef Adam presented an array of beautiful petit fours, pastries & chocolate strawberries.

We followed with a spectacular Titanic presentation accompanied by the flute performed by our special guest Shelley.
Her great-grandmother was a survivor on the Titanic and Shelley shared her amazing story with us. 🚢⚓️💕 Thank you Shelley for spending the day with us and sharing your story!🩷

🍷 Sip, Smile, and Savor – A Day at Ferrante Winery! 🍇

Our residents enjoyed a beautiful and relaxing day at Ferrante Winery, soaking up the sunshine, savoring delicious food, and of course, sampling some of the best wines the winery has to offer! 🥂

Laughter, conversation, and scenic vineyard views made this outing one to remember - from clinking glasses on the patio to lots of smiles — it was a day full of wonderful memories and good cheer. 🍷🍲💕

Each day we will explore a topic or event that has changed through the generation ending the week with a Sock Hop party with Milkshakes & French Fry bar! 🧋🍟

Our Vice President of Culinary, Chef Kevin Penn, CEC, CCA, was recently honored as the American Culinary Federation Central Regional winner for the 2025 Dr. L.J. Minor Chef Professionalism Award.

This award honors chefs who exemplify professionalism, and Chef Kevin is more than deserving. His leadership has elevated dining across 150+ StoryPoint Group communities, turning meals into experiences and dining rooms into gathering spaces. We couldn’t be prouder. Way to go, Chef Kevin!

Last Friday, we had a delightful afternoon filled with rhythm and grace, thanks to our very own Jody Karl! A longtime dancer, Jody invited her talented friends from Fred Astaire’s Dance Academy to showcase a variety of routines. The event ended on a high note with a special performance by Jody herself. Residents were invited to join the fun, hit the dance floor, and enjoy a lovely glass of wine 💃🍷✨
