This morning’s Easter Mass at Saint Therese at St. Mary of the Woods was truly special. The chapel was filled, hearts were full, and the sense of community was undeniable.

Moments like this are a powerful reminder of who we are and what we stand for. At Saint Therese, we believe in “doing ordinary things with extraordinary love,” and today was a perfect reflection of that mission in action. 
From residents and families to staff and visitors, it was inspiring to see so many people come together in faith, connection, and shared purpose. This is what makes our community more than just a place—it’s a home built on compassion, meaningful relationships, and spiritual well-being.

Residents, staff, and families enjoyed a festive visit from the Easter Bunny, and even a surprise appearance from a giant Carrot, during our Easter Bingo Night!

One lucky winner took home a giant Easter basket from our raffle, and the celebration wrapped up with a cheerful egg hunt that had everyone smiling!

Saint Therese hosted another meaningful evening in Avon this week as part of our Family Support Series, bringing together about 20 attendees for conversation and guidance around supporting aging parents. From dementia education to estate planning and care transitions, the panel offered practical insights, followed by small-group discussions and one-on-one time with local experts.
