Celebrate the New Year with Brittany & Matt for a special Yoga Flow to LIVE Acoustic music on January 9th at 7pm.
Brittany will lead an all levels practice accompanied by acoustic guitarist, Matt Belliveau.
The music will be composed in real time allowing the energy of the moment to flow through the room!
Reiki is a Japanese spiritual healing technique, where the practitioner lightly rests or hovers their hands over parts of the body where energy flows the most, allowing the body to be its own healer.
Reiki will provide your body the extra energy to balance you physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.
What is Restorative Yoga?
Restorative yoga is a deeply relaxing practice that utilizes various props to help ease the body into various postures that are held for extended periods (10-20 minutes). When we give the body a chance to slow down and relax we tap into the parasympathetic nervous system allowing the body to become its own healer by reducing stress and calming the mind.
Doesn’t this all sound amazing. And we get to offer it TOGETHER on a monthly basis!
Sign up for our next Restorative Yoga & Reiki with Brittany and Vilma on January 2nd at 7pm.
Join Jacqueline in the studio for Community Acupuncture on January 18th at 1pm.
During this session Jacqueline will be focusing on Auricular Acupuncture!!
What is Auricular Acupuncture?
It is a gentle form of acupuncture that focuses on points located on the ear.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the ear is considered a microcosm of the entire body—meaning every part of the body is represented on the ear. By stimulating specific points, we can influence the nervous system, organ function, and overall balance.
This approach allows the entire body to benefit, even though the treatment is done only on the ear. Many people experience profound calming effects on the nervous system, helping reduce stress, ease tension, and create a sense of groundedness.
With the expected snow, all Saturday, Dec. 27th, classes are canceled to ensure the safety of both our students and teachers.
All Sunday, Dec. 28th, classes are ON!
Enjoy the snow day. Stay warm. Stay safe.

Kick off the new year with Brittany & Vilma as they guide you into deeply relaxing postures with the support of Reiki.
Your Restorative poses will calm the nervous system allowing the body to rest, heal and restore balance. Reiki will provide your body the extra energy to balance you physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.
Reiki is a Japanese spiritual healing technique, where the practitioner lightly rests or hovers their hands over parts of the body where energy flows the most, allowing the body to be its own healer. On a given day, we’re all running on empty, with just enough energy to get through the day, with no energy left in the body to repair, heal, and regenerate!
Let’s hit the reset button for 2026 to restore, heal, and balance our energy.
Somatic Breathwork utilizes the breath as a vehicle to move through deeper layers of emotional patterning, energetic constriction and stored tension - creating space and amplifying the volume of the quiet, steady, timeless wisdom that lives within your heart.
Through active, sustained breathwork, spacious guidance and supported integration you’ll have the opportunity to explore a FELT experience of embodied transformation - from a state of constriction to one of expansion, liberation and heart-centered authenticity.
Jon Orsini is a certified Somatic Breathwork guide on the faculty at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health and T Schreiber Acting Studio. Between groups, couples sessions and 1 on 1s, Jon has supported over 3,000 people in this process to date. Experiencing first hand the life changing gifts of yoga, Diane Couture embarked on a journey to bring those gifts to others by opening Yoga From the Heart in West Hartford Center in March of 2018. Owned and managed by Diane and filled with instructors who teach from their authentic journeys, YFTH is becoming a community based studio for health and wellness, offering a range of classes designed for every BODY and every JOURNEY. If you like an athletic approach to yoga, try our heated power vinyasa, yoga sculpt or Forrest classes. Just beginning your yoga journey, we offer yoga basics and all levels flow classes. And when you need a moment to restore, meditate and deeply stretch, try our gentle and restorative. Using a combination of asanas, heat, music, candlelight, and aromatherapy the “flow” of every class will allow you to explore your edge and get in touch with your heart and soul.
Our certified teachers have diverse training backgrounds comprised of Kripalu, West Hartford Power Yoga, Samadhi Yoga, Hot Hatha Sculpt, Forrest, Journey of Yoga, Balanced Body Barre, Total Barre, Holistic Health, Reiki, Medicinal Aromatherapy, Guided Imagery, and Crystal Healing.
Diane’s vision for Yoga From the Heart was realized and put into motion after completing her 200 RYT training at West Hartford Yoga and Advanced Teacher Training with Ana Forrest. Her personal well being was fueled by over 20 years practicing on her mat, but the realization that “yoga can heal” body, mind and spirit, emerged during her trainings, at the time of great loss in her life. She found her practice gave her balance in her life and deepened her connection to compassion, allowing space to give more to family and others. Living only blocks from the studio, she is emerged in the West Hartford community and is heartfelt every time a student walks or rides their bike to practice, every time she can partner with a fellow business, every time she can lend an ear in a time of struggle and every free Community Class she can offer!
“A community based Yoga Studio as a peaceful sanctuary to bring your body, mind, and heart into harmony...is all I could have ever dreamed!”
