He is Double Board Certified in Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery as well. Dr. Stanislaw is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a Fellow of the American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Colby College, and graduated with Honors in the Major of Biology. Upon graduation, he was awarded a one year position at the National Institu
tes of Health researching tumor suppressor genes. He then attended Albany Medical College, and graduated with distinction as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. At Albany Medical Center Hospital he completed a five year residency in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery. A major portion of this residency was dedicated training in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. With a desire for further training in this area, he completed a fellowship through the American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at the Albany Medical Center Hospital. This fellowship was focused entirely on cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the nose, eyes, face and neck. Dr. Stanislaw practiced Facial Plastic Surgery in Washington, D.C. prior to his move to Connecticut, where he founded the Stanislaw Facial Plastic Surgery Center in 2001
