This post isn’t here to convince you to “add one more thing” to your plate.

It’s here because I see how many people are stuck in a loop of waiting... waiting for the perfect timing, the perfect discipline, the perfect version of themselves before reaching out for help.

But healing doesn’t work that like. There's no perfect time to start. I don't expect perfection from you. We talk about that ALL the time in this clinic. We truly try to work sustainably with you- that means we don't make bold and unsustainable recommendations.

We start small, we meet you where you are. We ask you, "do you want tough love? Or do you want us to walk you through this step by step and celebrate every tiny improvement? Because we can do that."

You don't have to be perfect and I don't know who told you that you did. It's not real life. We're about realistic, down-to-earth healing here at Vail Valley Wellness. So show up as you imperfectly are. (It's more fun for us to work with than a perfect patient, I promise)

I always feel like one of the best ways to explain how acupuncturists look at your symptoms and create a plan of action is to describe it in terms of nervous system regulation.

You can now book functional bloodwork, hormone panels, gut tests, and more. Everything is drawn on-site by Dr. Ellen Millard, our in-house naturopathic doctor.
