From baby teeth to the board room! 🦷💻

After a full week of treating patients, Dr. B made a quick trip to the American Dental Association (ADA) Headquarters in Chicago to represent District 1 at the National Council on Communications Meeting where she was greeted with tooth socks and skyline views! 🌃

This is the first of 4 conferences in the month of May! Next stop… The Medicaid Medicare CHIP Oral Health Symposium in Alexandria, Virginia where Dr. B will be advocating for increased equity, improved quality, and expanded access to oral health care particularly for patients enrolled in Medicaid. 🪥

Pediatric Oral Health Advocacy Conference 2026 🩵 The BIG advocate for LITTLE teeth 🦷🪥

As the Connecticut State Team Leader, Dr. B worked with faculty and residents from UConn and Yale to lobby on behalf of federal legislation that would promote the optimal oral health of all children. 🫶🏼

We are so thankful for the meaningful relationships built on Capitol Hill and the continued support from our Congress Members. 🇺🇸💙❤️

And a big shoutout to all of the AAPD leaders and residents who contributed to our FIRST Annual PAC State Challenge! 🎯 We proudly had 100% participation from Team CT. 💪🏼 To quote the great Dr. Heber Simmons, “Thank you for helping us take care of the children.” 🙏🏼
