We’re excited to kick off a new series here at Farmington Valley Dermatology where we introduce you to the incredible team members who make our practice so special. Each Monday, you’ll get to know more about the faces behind your care — their backgrounds, favorite skincare tips, and what they love most about dermatology.

This week, meet Gabriela Vega, our dedicated Clinical Supervisor!

Gabriela joined us in December 2024 after completing her studies in Medical Assisting at Lincoln Tech. She’s passionate about treating alopecia, especially alopecia areata — a condition that can be challenging but deeply rewarding to help patients through.

Her favorite skincare brand is La Roche-Posay, and her top skincare advice is: “UV damage happens indoors too — SPF should be part of your daily routine, even if you’re not spending time outside!” 🌞

Outside of the office, Gabriela loves spending time with her family, hiking, exploring new places, and enjoying time with her nephew. 💛
