Many Thanks to all of our Practitioners whose support allows us to provide affordable healthcare for our community! Thanks also to Kate, Tom and Jason for all of your hard work developing Red Pine Chinese Herbs. We are so grateful to all of you!
To all of our supporters, patients, practitioners, friends and family,
The doors of Urban Herbs have been opened for a year now and we wanted to take a moment to share our excitement with you! Over the past year we have treated over 300 patients, filled thousands of formulas, and helped hundreds of practitioners by providing top quality, custom Chinese herbal formulas for their clinics. We have volunteered weekly at the St. Francis Center for the homeless and the University of Denver athletics and recreation department. We have donated treatments to the NAACP Freedom Fund, It Takes a Village, Prostate Cancer Research, Charg Resource Center, and many more completely deserving organizations. We officially became a Colorado 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in January of this year and we are looking forward to the many opportunities that working with other non-profits will bring.
It certainly has been a year of learning for the two of us! As we are still finding our footing in the games of marketing and Quickbooks, the greatest lessons have come from our patients. Seeing how each and every one values his or her health truly humbles us. We have seen patients alleviate decades of pain, ease anxiety and depression, choose to quit addictive behaviors, and become pregnant after struggling with infertility! Their commitments to their health and decisions to be proactive are the daily reminders of the strength of this medicine and our mission with Urban Herbs.
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! Without your support, this could not have happened. We are so grateful to each and every one of you for believing in us. It has undoubtedly been one of the most challenging and rewarding years of our lives. Not many people get to live their dream, but we truly are and we do not take one day of it for granted.
Looking at the year to come, we will continue to work hard on new neighborhood health initiatives. This week we will be starting a donation-based community acupuncture night. We are working with other local acupuncturists on how we can further our reach in the Five Points community and we will continue to find ways to expand the reach of Chinese medicine beyond our neighborhood. However we grow, please know that you played a role, please know that we are both here to return the favor if there is anything you need.
All the best,
Chloe and Becky
