Next month will mark 100 years since Martin Luther Home—one of the two organizations that created Mosaic—was founded in Nebraska. The news of the Home’s opening spread quickly. Within 11 days, four individuals arrived by train, but the Home wasn’t ready yet. Martha Moehl, wife of one of the founders, cared for the children (and more who arrived later) in their family home until the residential school was ready to house them.

We believe that for millions around the world, autism is a fundamental part of who they are. We've seen firsthand the many gifts people with autism bring to the world and how acceptance and proper support make a positive difference in their lives.

As uncertainty around Medicaid funding grew in Washington, D.C, Robyn Agu and other Home Providers made sure their Congressional representatives, friends and neighbors saw the faces and heard the names of people who rely on services made possible through the program.
