Nashoba Valley Medical Center EMS

I’ve been sitting here for the last 24 hours trying to figure out how to put into words how I am feeling. As of 7am yesterday, NVMC closed its doors directly affecting 1000s of people. This has to be the worst decision that the state of Massachusetts has allowed to happen. Lives WILL be lost because of this.

The staff here at Nashoba has been the greatest group of professionals I have had the pleasure to work with. Over the last 5 years we have worked to make everything EMS related streamlined to to the best possible care for the patient. NVMC has been my second home it seemed during that time and I am devastated to have had to walk out for the final time yesterday morning. I want to wish all community members and hospital staff the best in their future and I know the staff will keep the fight going to reopen best they can!

No amount of pizza or gifts will ever be able to adequately express to our EMS staff what they mean to our department and the citizens of Pepperell. Please join us, on this first day of the 50th Anniversary of EMS week, in thanking all of EMS staff here, and across the nation, for everything they are and do!
