Yesterday the 6 A.M. Outlaws pulled off the ultimate prank… they all showed up dressed as me!

Flannel shirts. Big beards. Mohawks. The whole deal.

Whitney even took over the whiteboard, beard and all, running the warm-up and shouting:

“Alright, Kyle, Kyle, Kyle, Kyle — everyone’s Kyle today!”

It was absolutely hilarious — and honestly, they nailed it.
Seeing my crew have that much fun reminds me why I love what we do here every single morning.

Strong community. Strong laughs. Strong bodies.

💜 From Gym Member to Gym Legend: Joanne, You’ve Left a Legacy 💪

Some people join a gym.
Others change the energy of it entirely.
That was Joanne.

After three incredible years of training with us, Joanne and her family are off to a new adventure in parts unknown, New Hampshire — but her impact here will never leave.

Joanne didn’t just show up…
She showed us what it means to be relentlessly dedicated.
She trained five days a week, no matter what.
No excuses. No shortcuts. Just pure heart and hustle.

There’s something powerful about watching someone transform right in front of your eyes.
Joanne came in committed, but she left unstoppable. 💥
She built muscle. She built strength.
But even more importantly — she built a mindset that inspired everyone in our gym.

Whether it was cheering someone on during their last set, pushing herself when no one was watching, or simply walking in with that quiet fire that said, “Let’s work”…
Joanne led by example.

And for the women in our community especially — career-driven parents, juggling it all — Joanne was living proof that you can take back control of your body, your strength, and your confidence. You just need a system, a tribe, and the will to rise.

Her kids finished high school. Her chapter here is complete.
But what she showed us?
That’s lasting.

We’ll miss the workouts.
We’ll miss the laughs.
But we’ll never stop being grateful for the mark she made on our gym family.

Joanne, thank you.
You’ve set a new standard.
You didn’t just get results.
You raised the bar for what it looks like to be all in.

Most people don’t know why I became a strength coach specializing in muscle building...

The truth is, I know what it’s like to feel lost in my fitness journey and to wonder if things will ever change.

I didn’t just wake up one day with all the answers — it has taken time, learning, and lots of trial and error.

I remember years ago when I was struggling to find a balance between training clients all day long, prepping all my meals, strength training 4-5 times per week and being present for my family.

I didn’t recognize myself when I looked in the mirror anymore.

Still, even though I wanted to change… I couldn’t stick to anything for longer than a few weeks. I’d always let the old habits win because I was just too darn tired.

It was only when I found a coach who really understood me that things started to shift.

Now, I get to help people do the same.

If you see yourself in my story, remember that it’s never too late to make a change. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been heading down the ‘wrong’ path for years — you can always decide that TODAY is a fresh start.

The issue isn’t realizing you need a change…

It’s thinking that sticking to the same routine will keep delivering results.

If your goal is building a stronger athletic body, small adjustments can lead to big improvements over time.

That means paying attention to what your body is telling you and making changes when needed — without feeling like you have to overhaul everything at once.

Because in the long run?

It’s those little tweaks that create lasting results.

Take this as your sign to listen to your body and make the changes that will support your progress!

My Story

Hi, my name is Kyle Ross and I created Ross Fitness - Out of the Box Training. With the rise of large group classes like boot camps and CrossFit many were getting hurt and ignored because of a lack of personal coaching. I opened my doors to put “Personal” back into personal training.

I saw the need to create a family like culture in my gym and to deeply care about every single person that walked through the door.

See, the big reason for results is Consistency and my clients keep coming because we have FUN! In fact, it’s one of our biggest Core Values! Don’t get me wrong because we work hard but we definitely laugh a lot!
