On August 22nd, while in the line of duty, Lieutenant Kelvin Vargas sustained serious injuries while selflessly battling a blaze to keep our community safe. Our brave colleague and dedicated public servant has always been the first to answer the call while putting his life on the line to protect others.
Kelvin now faces a long journey to recovery, despite the immense challenges. Yet, he continues to exhibit unwavering strength and determination with a positive spirit that inspires us all.
