Background:

I graduated from the InterAmerican University of Puerto Rico with a BA degree in Psychology. I have experience in the foster care system, and with at risk youth. I am currently in the process of graduating with my master's degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University in Mental Health Counseling with a certification in Play Therapy. I am currently a Counseling Student Intern at Faith Assembly Counseling Center at www.faithassembly.org

Theoretical Orientation:

I consider myself an Integrative therapist with an emphasis in Client Centered and approach and Play Therapy. I believe that human beings have the inherent capacity for growth. I have a passion for helping families find healing and achieve healthier lifestyles.

LOVE is the NAME

Mi oración más profunda es que mi vida tenga sentido. Que mientras viva pueda ser reflejo de amor. Que al final de mis días recuerden mi sonrisa, y el amor que entrego. La vida es mucho más grande que nosotros. El egoísmo y encerrarnos en nosotros mismo nos limita. Pero cuando vemos “the bigger picture” ahí es cuando crecemos y encontramos nuestro hermoso propósito. Cual es tu motor, que te inspira, que te motiva todos los días? Si aún no lo encuentras no te rindas! Cosas buenas vienen para los que esperan y si buscamos de corazón….seremos sorprendidos🌷

Excited or terrified? That is the face you make when big sister is about to push you off a scary mountain. 😂 I guess that is what life is all about. Taking leaps of faith and sometimes having to trust others and the Lord in the process. Not an easy task for someone who didn’t have a healthy relational upbringing. The truth is there is so much beauty that one can miss if we let our past rule over our present and future. The struggle of what is healthy and not is real! I hear you! Keep trying and surround yourself with healthy people who can help lift you up! “While there is life, there is hope” Eclesiastes 9:4-6

Emocionado o aterrado? La cara que pones cuando tú hermana mayor está a punto de empujarte por un risco que te asusta. 😂 Creo que de eso trata la vida. Tomar pasos de fe en donde conlleve confiar en los demás y en el Señor en el proceso. Eso no es algo muy fácil de hacer cuando no tuvimos una buena experiencia de lo que es una relación saludable. La verdad es que hay mucha belleza en el mundo de la cual nos perdemos cuando dejamos que nuestro pasado controle nuestro presente y futuro. La batalla constante de preguntarte que es saludable y que no es. La lucha es real! Te escucho! Continúan intentando y rodéate de personas saludables que estén dispuestos a levantarte cuando lo necesites. “Mientras haya vida, hay esperanza” Eclesiastés 9:4-6
