We’re thrilled to announce that we’ll be part of the fun at tomorrow’s Sting Fling Festival—Azle’s biggest community celebration! Join us on Main Street, Saturday, SEPTEMBER 13th from 9 AM to 3 PM for a day full of carnival-themed excitement, local flavor, and family-friendly festivities.

🌭 The Wiener Dog Derby! That’s right—tiny paws, wagging tails, and big personalities will be dashing down Main Street starting at 10 AM near the Azle Memorial Library entrance. Whether you're cheering on your favorite dachshund or just soaking in the spectacle, it's a can't-miss moment of pure joy.

Today, we pause to honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and to recognize the extraordinary courage of first responders, survivors, and all who rose in the face of tragedy. Unfortunately, they aren't the only ones we are mourning and remembering today. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of Charlie Kirk, the children in Colorado, and those who made the ultimate sacrifice Sept. 11, 2001.

We remember the 2,977 souls taken too soon, and we reaffirm our commitment to unity, resilience, and compassion. May their legacy continue to inspire us to stand together in strength and solidarity.

We will never forget you.
