There is no such thing as a “perfect” chaturanga.⁠
And I’ll happily die on that hill. 💪🧘‍♀️⁠

So many of us were taught to force our bodies into shapes that were never designed with our bodies in mind. Many of the early yoga poses were created for men’s bodies — different shoulders, different hips, different centers of gravity.⁠
⁠
So if a pose feels awkward, strained, or inaccessible…⁠
You are not broken.⁠
You are human.⁠
⁠
Yoga isn’t about fitting into an idealized shape.⁠
It’s about adjusting the pose to fit you — your curves, your strength, your season of life.⁠
⁠
In my classes, there is no shame in modifying.⁠
No gold star for pushing through pain.⁠
Only choice, safety, and support.⁠
⁠
You don’t need to earn your space here.⁠
You already belong. 🤍⁠
