It was a great turnout at the Huron County Baby Shower! Such a wonderful event hosted by Huron County Great Start Collaborative. It was also a mini reunion with The Empathetic Doula and Heart of the Thumb Doula Services, LLC. We all completed Birth Doula training together. These 2 amazing doulas are on the top of my backup Doula list and anyone would be lucky to have them as their Doula! :)

A Cesarean, or C-Section, is one way that a baby can be brought into this world.

This is a major surgery, and as a pelvic floor physical therapist, I can help you to recover from this major surgery.

We will look at your posture, how well your core works and how well the scar is healing.

80% of women who have had a c-section will have back pain during their lifetime and this is typically due to all the scar tissue that forms during healing.
