We are recognizing Amy Hershey for her years of superb care for our residents and her calm, patient demeanor that families, visitors and all of her team members appreciate.
Here is what Amy has to say about being a CNA here at Cornerstone:
I’ve worked in healthcare for 14 years and with Cornerstone for 8 years, and it’s honestly like a second home to me. I work as a CNA because I truly care about the people here—both the residents and the team I work with. Being able to make someone’s day better, even in a small way, is what keeps me going. It’s not always easy, but it’s always worth it. I’ve built a lot of strong connections over the years, and I’m proud to be part of a place where care really matters.

We are going to start doing a recognition spotlight of each worker once a week. This week we are starting with Julie S. She has been with us for over 8 years as a kitchen manager, housekeeper and PA. We all thank her for her dedication , flexibility and years of service.
Here is what Julie has to say about working here.

I am fully retired but still work PT at CRSC. It's not because I need to but I have a heart for the residents. I enjoy spending time with them. There are times during cares we sing together. They don't care if I can't carry a tune. They smile and try and sing along. I can't find a better place to work. Our facility is filled with caring people. LALD, RN,LPN, and great staff, overall we make we have great team work. I'm not saying we dont have a rough day now and then. When I wonder why I'm still doing this I look around and see staff and residents that really appreciate me! We are all a team that makes a facility great. I will continue to work at Cornerstone as long as I can!
