BarreFusion is a full-body workout that focuses on precise movements to tone and strengthen muscles, followed by stretching to make muscles lean and long. This high-energy class is an engaging, vigorous workout designed to target traditionally problematic areas: thighs, seat, abs, and arms. The class incorporates incorporates the principals of pilates in all movement and will challenge your whole body using equipment such as gliders, core balls, and light weights. Integrating my many years of experience teaching a broad range of modes, I offer a unique mix that's sure to firm, tone, stretch, and balance your body — from the crown of your head to the tips of your toes!
Once you've learned the basics, expect to sweat. You'll leave with muscles shaking and pride in how hard you worked.
RESISTANCE TRAINING
This class is perfect for anybody who is looking to transform their body through a good weight lifting program.
The goal is to help you develop lean and functional muscle tone through foundational lifts. Weight lifting decreases your risk of poor bone health in later life, reduces incidence of vascular and metabolic disease and even promotes neuro-protective benefits!
Class begins with a dynamic warm up and ends with some full body yoga stretching.
Please bring your own mat.
RESISTANCE & HIIT @ BATTLEPOINT PARK
This 40-min class is perfect for anybody looking to transform their body through resistance training mixed with heart-pumping HIIT (high intensity interval training). The goal is to help you develop lean, functional muscle tone with weightlifting, and to get short bursts of high-intensity training through cardiovascular and plyo.
This class is designed for those who want build muscle, gain agility, flexibility, and cardio fitness.
Modified for all levels of fitness.
Bring a mat and light to medium weights. Meet at picnic covered area near playground.
Days & Time:
Resistance training: Mondays, 9:00-9:50 am
BarreFusion: Wednesdays, 9:00-9:50 am
Battlepoint Resistance: Fridays, 9:00-9:40 am
