founded the Healing Stone Crusade: Creating 1,000 Global Connections in 2025 to serve as a reminder that we are all connected, nature heals, and community matters.

Come be a part of this global phenomenon by making your own Healing Stones. We’ll begin with a “mini” sound bath followed by a Healing Stone tutorial. You’ll practice markmaking before personalizing your stones with archival ink pens. Then, we’ll circle up to share our experience and close with a toning exercise and meditation. You’ll leave feeling restored, grounded, and maybe even a little blissed out.

No previous experience required. Please note, this workshop is not suitable for small children.

A Shaman is someone who has a foot in many worlds, the one we see and the other worlds that are ever present but invisible to our ordinary consciousness. Their role is to help shift our consciousness and guide us through these worlds, where we can meet ancestors, spirit helpers and nature guides. 🧡 We now find ourselves in the middle of autumn: The vibrancy of colored chaos on the ground, the cooler wind that makes us feel so alive when we fully inhale it, the urge to slow down and stay indoors more. Take time to honor yourself this season before we slowly tuck ourselves in for the winter.

🍂 Dance Yourself Free on Friday, November 28 to feel sovereignty and freedom in your body through dance and movement. Think of it as the one final burst of color before the graceful release down to kiss the earth, just like the leaves here in the Pacific Northwest.

☕️ On Saturday, November 29, we journey inward to the Temple of the Heart, a sacred gathering where ceremonial cacao guides us back to our inner sanctuary through ceremony. A warm drink of heart medicine, an honoring of what has been, fully witnessing what is, and a deep gratitude for what is about to be.

✨ Whether you choose to attend by yourself or with a loved one, these are beautiful opportunities to be fully present—to experience the world with deep love, gratitude and grace.

“This month, our journey through the Yamas and Niyamas, yoga’s ethical teachings, continues with an exploration of Asteya or non-stealing. As I delve into this principle, I’m struck with the clarity that the very concept of ownership is the fuel perpetuating our culture of stealing. Conversely, the deep knowing that nothing can be owned feels foundational to all of the indigenous cultures that I have experienced. This way of living cultivates systems of reciprocity, gratitude and generosity rather than ones based on selfishness, greed and scarcity.

The ancient teaching of Asteya invites us to remember that everything we possess or even experience is a precious gift and we are asked to receive and respond to life’s gifts from this perspective. Asteya inspires us to develop the competency to fully receive what is given to us, whether it comes in the form of great bounty or profound suffering. Experiencing life this way, we are constantly growing ourselves and our world into its fullest potential.”

Truth has the power to right wrongs and end sorrows. It is fierce in its demands and magnanimous in its offerings. It invites us to places we rarely frequent and where we seldom know what the outcome will be.

Truth (‘satya’) demands integrity to life and to our own self that is more than not telling a simple lie.

When we are real rather than nice, when we choose self-expression over self-indulgence, when we choose growth over the need to belong, and when we choose fluidity over rigidity, we begin to understand the deeper dynamics of truthfulness, and we begin to taste the freedom and goodness of this jewel.

Soul Activism: Tending Anger, Befriending Grief, and Deepening Connection in Challenging Times with Carol Ann Davidson

Our activism is directly connected to our heart’s ability to respond to the world. A congested heart, one burdened with unexpressed sorrow, cannot stay open to the world and, consequently, cannot be fully available for the healing work so needed at this time. -Francis Weller, The Wild Edge of Sorrow

From Carol Ann: “I began this work after the election last fall. I had a lot of grief. I questioned how I could emotionally weather the next four years. I thought I could either really limit my news intake which felt like putting my head in the sand and didn't feel like a responsible choice (although discerning intake certainly is necessary.) Or I could use my tools to stay engaged, maintain equanimity and connection. These practices have been my path to minimize overwhelm and negative impact to my own well being under the current political circumstances.”

Three-Part Series on Thursdays:
Oct. 23, Oct. 30 & Nov. 6

Fall Ayurvedic Community Cleanse with Sarah Kruse

Ayurveda views seasonal cleansing as a necessary practice for maintaining great health and preventing illness. Due to the pace of modern life, our environment and the foods we eat, we accumulate toxins, or ama, as it is referred to in Ayurveda, in our bodies and minds. The Ayurvedic system of healing uses a specific cleansing program that effectively removes accumulated toxins, reverses effects of stress, increases energy and mental clarity and restores your natural state of balance.

In this group cleanse, you will attend 3 classes, receive a detailed guide and shopping list, and get the support of Sarah and the community.

Please Note: Upon registration, you will be able to access the shopping list for the cleanse so that you can order all supplies in time for the cleanse start date of Oct 21, 2025.

Balance does not look a certain way because it isn't a set standard to impose upon ourselves; it's not something we can plan or schedule. Balance instead comes from listening to the guidance and wisdom of the inner voice. Balance will look different in each of us and even different in each of us at different times.

To be in tune with ourselves, we must get
quiet and listen and then heed this inner voice. This voice does not push or bombard or make promises. This inner wisdom simply knows what we need to be vital, healthy, and in deep harmony.

09/16/2025

Many of us have sat in funeral homes or churches listening to eulogies where the speaker mispronounces names, gets facts wrong, or clearly never knew the deceased. We lose connection to our loved one, hearing a story we don’t recognize, instead of the adventures, strengths, and memories we shared. We leave feeling detached, thinking “I could have done better...”

First person eulogies give us the gift of writing our own story. The eulogy might begin, “I loved peonies, baking with my grandkids, and riding my vespa” or “I worked hard at my career, but reflecting on my life, I most enjoyed weekends at the cabin with family” or “I’m sad to end this journey and want to share my values with the family I’m leaving behind.”

By entering the sacred space of deep contemplation, we take stock, define our values, and create a beautiful story for loved ones to receive. It becomes a heartfelt sharing of what’s most sacred to us.

Telling Your Story: Eulogy Writing Workshop with Danielle Gordon

Two-Part Workshop: Mondays, Sept. 22 & 29
7-8:30pm (In Studio)

Cost: $60-$120 Sliding Scale for 2-Part Workshop
