Hello,
I hope this post finds you well. It has been over a week since I closed my doors to you. I feel the loss of our time together, but we all need to do our part to stay healthy for each other. I have found many new ways to look at this time apart.
Precious Pause: Time to spend with my husband and Young adults living at home.
~We have taken turns cooking together. At times teaching each other new techniques and recipes.
~We have played together, New games and some old games, ie cards, dice, board, electronics. We have pulled out the Wii so we are getting our exercise inside and out.
~We have exercised together on long and short walks, jogged, and yoga. Priceless time alone with these wonderful humans (and a dog) I share with the world but in this isolation, I get to have to my self, and each other again. They are my world for now, and I am soaking up every moment.
~We have done crafts and tasks that we have not had time to do. Things we say we want to do if only we had the time. We now find the time, energy and joy and satisfaction able to complete and start another. We are getting things done! Gardening, painting. repairing, preparing, learning new skills, diving deeper into subjects we could only have time to skim in our regularly scheduled life.
~We have slept in, stayed up late.
~We notice things that go unnoticed in everyday life. Birds, Silence, Clean air, daily changes in trees and plants emerging from there winter slumber.
While we are all together here, we miss all of you out there doing your best to stay home and stay healthy.
~We hope we never have to be apart again.
~We will not take time for granted
~We will appreciate more.
~We will be stronger.
~We will get through this.
