📌 It’s hard for kids, tweens, and even teens to come to their parents and say, “I’m experiencing feelings of anxiety.” Our kids cannot always articulate what they are feeling internally, which means parents have to become “decoders.”
📌 Understanding what our kids go through when they experience anxiety begins with awareness, open communication, and compassion.
📌 Sometimes we have to act as an “investigator” and dig deeper.
📌 Parents can understand their child’s anxiety by actively listening, showing empathy, and providing the comfort and guidance needed to navigate these challenging emotions together.
