The 80-bed Community hospital and 107-bed long-term care facility, along with Willow Ridge, a 22-bed personal care facility, is owned and operated by the Hospital Authority of the City of Bainbridge and Decatur County. Memorial Hospital and Manor's dedicated team of physicians, employees, and volunteers fulfill the motto, "Excellence in Service," through friendly, compassionate care. Memorial Hospital and Manor's ongoing efforts of recruiting outstanding physicians and staff, improving facilities, procuring state-of-the-art equipment, and promoting a healthy community exemplify its commitment to quality. Lisa brings a strong passion for serving others and a deep commitment to helping families navigate the often complex journey of long-term care planning. In her role, she will work closely with patients, families, and the community to ensure individuals are informed, supported, and confident in making the best decisions for their loved ones’ long-term care needs.

A very special thank you to Isla Ackels for her incredibly thoughtful act of kindness. With the support of her parents, Isla organized a collection of stuffed animals and toys for children who come through our Emergency Department at Memorial Hospital and Manor.

The idea was completely Isla’s—she wanted to do something to help other kids who might be scared or not feeling well. Because of her generous heart, many children visiting our Emergency Department will now receive a comforting stuffed animal or toy to help brighten their day.

We would also like to thank everyone who donated these precious items. Your generosity will make a meaningful difference for the families we care for.

Our Emergency Department nurses shared their appreciation for Isla’s kindness:
“A child coming into the ER can sometimes be a scary experience for them. Being able to give them a stuffed animal or small toy can instantly bring comfort and a smile. Isla’s thoughtfulness and generosity truly means so much to our team and to the children we care for. Acts of kindness like this remind us how special our community is.”

Did you know that Memorial Hospital and Manor offers most lab tests for just $10 each? That’s right — no limit on the number of qualifying labs you can have done. It’s an easy and affordable way to stay on top of your health.

All you have to do is let the registration desk know that you would like to take advantage of the $10 Lab Program when you arrive.

Please note that a few select tests do not qualify, but the majority of routine labs are included.
