A Good News Story Worth Sharing!
Our Pelvic Floor Therapy service line expands access to specialized care that helps patients restore comfort, confidence, and quality of life.
One current patient shared how impactful the program has been on her recovery:
“After having three babies, I was dealing with symptoms from my deliveries that made everyday life uncomfortable and social situations difficult at times. Emilee has been incredible with helping me regain control and has worked with me to find the strategies that work best for my body. She is extremely knowledgeable and explains everything in clear, easy-to-understand ways. She not only teaches exercises, but also explains why they work, which has made me feel much more confident and empowered in my recovery. She is patient, supportive, and truly cares. I’m so grateful for her help.”
Pelvic floor dysfunction can affect individuals after childbirth, surgery, or other life changes, often causing symptoms that interfere with daily activities and social interactions. Memorial Hospital’s Pelvic Floor Therapy program provides personalized, one-on-one care focused on education, strengthening, and practical strategies tailored to each patient’s body and goals.
Led by skilled physical therapist Emilee Miller, the program emphasizes patient education, empowerment, and compassionate care—helping patients understand not just what to do, but why it works. This approach allows individuals to actively participate in their healing and achieve lasting improvements.
With the addition of Pelvic Floor Therapy, Memorial Hospital continues its commitment to bringing advanced, patient-centered services close to home—so members of our community can receive the specialized care they need without traveling far from family and support.
For more information about Pelvic Floor Therapy at Memorial Hospital, patients are encouraged to speak with their healthcare provider about a referral.

Good news worth sharing 💛
“I am so thankful for my midwife, Maria Mock. She was an incredible source of support throughout my labor—staying by my side, making sure I was okay, and helping me stay focused through every contraction. Maria made me feel safe, calm, and truly cared for during one of the most important moments of my life. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a compassionate and skilled midwife. She is truly amazing, and I am so grateful for her.” ✨

🧪 Big Upgrade in Our Laboratory Services! 🧪

Memorial Hospital and Manor is excited to announce that our new DxC 500i and DxC 500 AU laboratory analyzers are now fully operational in our Lab! These advanced systems allow us to run over 100 different lab tests, processing up to 800 chemistry tests and 100 immunoassay tests every hour.

💡 What does that mean in everyday terms?
The DxC 500i and DxC 500 AU are high-tech laboratory analyzers that test blood and other samples quickly and accurately. For patients, this means faster test results, fewer delays in care, and quicker treatment decisions. For providers, it means more reliable information sooner, which can lead to better outcomes and a smoother care experience overall.

“We are excited about the investment in our Laboratory infrastructure to better serve our patients and healthcare providers,” said Ashley Bearden, Lab Manager. “Our commitment to your health means investing in the best technology offering faster turnaround times, higher accuracy, and improved efficiency. We believe a strong, healthy community starts with access to reliable healthcare, and we are honored to be a part of yours!”

This investment strengthens our ability to deliver high-quality care close to home, ensuring our community has access to the advanced diagnostics needed for confident, timely care—right here at Memorial Hospital and Manor.

🚨 New Pulmonary Rehab Center, Close to Home! 🚨

Memorial Hospital and Manor is proud to announce the opening of our Pulmonary Rehabilitation Center, with a Cardiac Rehabilitation component launching in early February! We are already treating patients for pulmonary rehab and are excited to expand these vital services right here in our community—so residents don’t have to leave home to receive the care they need.

Pulmonary Rehabilitation can help patients living with chronic lung conditions such as COPD, asthma, post-COVID lung disease, and other respiratory disorders by improving breathing, increasing stamina, reducing symptoms, and enhancing overall quality of life.

Cardiac Rehabilitation will support patients recovering from heart-related conditions or procedures by improving cardiovascular health, building strength and endurance, lowering the risk of future cardiac events, and promoting long-term heart-healthy habits.

Our Pulmonary Rehabilitation Center is led by Heather Sanders, BSRT, RRT, RPFT, providing expert, patient-centered care close to home.

📞 To get started, talk with your provider about a referral or call the MHM Pulmonary Rehabilitation and Diagnostic Center at 229-243-6181.

👉 More information about the Cardiac Rehabilitation Center will be coming soon—stay tuned!
