It is Back to School Time!! Gentiva Hospice of Bainbridge was able to spread some back to school cheer by giving back to the community in Blakely, Georgia. LaTasha Wimbush, Hospice Care Consultant, donated school supplies last week at Johnny's 2.0, as part of a community initiative, in which various sponsors/vendors participated. This was a great event and the turnout was awesome. Special Thank you to all who participated and Johnny's 2.0 for the space and the opportunity to give back.

Bonnie Warren, The Whamo Lady, visited several facilities spreading some Whamo Cheer! She visited Magnolia Center, Memorial Manor, two Senior Centers, Bainbridge Health and Rehab, and Early Nursing and Rehabilitation. The community and residents love to see Ms. Bonnie coming. Way to go Ms. Bonnie!

First stop for Operation Watermelon Cheer was Early Memorial Nursing Home and Early Medical Center. The smiles started pouring in as watermelons were distributed cart by cart. Thank you for all you do for our community and residents.

Big Shout Out to the Price family!

They donated a truckload of watermelons to our Bainbridge Branch. We were able to spread a little watermelon cheer around South Georgia. We look forward to sharing the smiles in upcoming posts. The first smiles we wanted to share are the smiles of the Price family. Thank you!

Our Volunteer Coordinator Extraordinaire and our Super Social Worker teamed up for a super fun Whamo card game at Early Memorial Nursing Home! The residents absolutely love to see our live and bubbly Bonnie Warren coming through the doors. This time, she brought our awesome Social Worker, Melody Price. As the saying goes, teamwork makes the dream work.

We are reaching new heights at the Bainbridge Branch. Stephanie worked diligently to secure our first, one-time contract with Ambetter, and we are so happy she did. This opened the door for us to be able to help another family in need, versus referring them to another agency for hospice care. The Business Development Team wanted to do something special for Stephanie for her tireless efforts. She loves plants and flowers. So we gifted her with this beautiful plant. Thank you, Stephanie! We are all smiles!!
