We went on an adventure last Friday! The National Historic Oregon Trail Interpretive Center, was amazing! The residents loved it! The people that work there are so kind and accommodating! We really appreciate the hospitality and help they gave us! Thank you tons!

The All Seasons Tree! Through the year, this tree changes to reflect holidays, seasons, and special occasions! Our beautiful concierge Shannon, came up with the idea for the Seasons Tree and dedicates time to decorate it beautifully! Residents, staff and guests admire it daily! Thank you Shannon, we appreciate you!

Through the Decades 1940’s was an amazing success!Hollywood’s Golden Age was enjoyed by residents, guests and staff. We listened and sang along as McBride and the Current belted out songs from years past. They were gracious enough to even throw in some modern tunes! Thank you everyone for coming and participating! We appreciate you!

Through the Decades 1930’s was a huge success! Everyone had a great time rocking out to the oldies by McBride and the Current, they were amazing! Jessica our dining director fixed two of the most popular dishes during the Great Depression era, Hoover stew and water pie they were delicious! Thank you everyone for all your support! We appreciate you! Now….. Roll out the red carpet and bring on the 1940’s!!

At Settlers Park Senior Living, we take our soup very seriously... but not ourselves. 😉

Our soup is the real deal. Homemade. Comfort in a bowl. the kind that makes you pause mid conversation and say, "Okay, this is REALLY good."

And almost every single day, our Soup of the Day is featured on our hand drawn board. Made with creativity, personality, and just enough flair to make you smile before you even take a bite. It's become a tradition around here most days.

And yes... one time Egg Drop Soup didn't quite "drop" the way it was supposed to. So naturally, we renamed it "Failed Egg Drop Soup" and served it anyway. Plot twist: it was still absolutely delicious. Because around here, even happy accidents can taste amazing. 🍜

We would like to send a Big thank you to the staff and students at BELC. The residents loved their beautiful Valentines cards you made. You did such an amazing job! We handed them out during our annual Valentine’s party, and decorated with some, so everyone may enjoy. Thank you again.

We would like to give a big thank you, to everyone at Crossroads Carnegie Art Center, for dedicating the month of January to emerging artists. We have some beautiful ladies who have pieces on display. We really enjoyed the opportunity to come in and view their art. We appreciate how kind and helpful the staff is. Thank you again.
