🌧 Even on this rainy day leading up to Labor Day weekend, moments of inspiration are all around us. As we stepped outside Settlers Park today, we looked up and say this incredible sight - what looks to be a U.S. Air Force C-17 flying overhead.

Labor Day is about honoring the hard work, service, and dedication that have built and sustained our communities. We're grateful for the generations who have given so much. From the American workforce to the men and women in uniform. 🇺🇸

🎭 Creativity was in full bloom at Settler's Park this week! Our residents had a blast painting and decorating masks during a fun and artistic afternoon together.

From bold colors to beautiful floral designs, each mask was as unique as the hands that made them. One resident proudly showed off her vibrant creation, while another playfully wore hers for a photo-bringing smiles all around!

We love seeing our community come together through creativity and joy. 💐✨

Mark your calendars for July 17th at 5PM at the Elks Lodge in Baker City- we're celebrating Miners Jubilee the best way we know how: with good food, great music, and even better company! Join us for a lively Senior Dance and Spaghetti Dinner, open to the public and perfect for kicking off the Jubilee weekend with some classic hometown fun.

🪙 What is Miners Jubilee, anyway?
It's a beloved Baker City tradition dating back decades-a time when we honor our rich mining history and the pioneers who helped build this community. Once a booming gold rush town in the late 1800's, Baker City drew miners from far and wide seeking fortune in the mountains of Eastern Oregon. Today, Miners Jubilee brings that spirit back to life with parades, gold panning, live music, and community gatherings like this one.

Come celebrate the golden days of Baker City with us-bring a friend, put on your dancing shoes, and enjoy a delicious plate of spaghetti while the music plays. 🎶🍽

A big thank-you to Enhabit Home Health for joining us at the Settler's Park Car Show this year! Their crew brought the fun with a Plinko board, a table full of awesome swag, and smiles all around.
