Neil served in the U.S. Marine Corps and the Army, where he saw the wider world. He met Tami in Arkansas, and they enjoyed crafting and attending Renaissance festivals, where they both played character roles and sold crafts, with Neil making some of the most amazing staffs and walking sticks.

As he grew older, Philip branched out into the rodeo club, riding ba****ck horses and bulls, and he also found much joy in flying with his dad. About this time, a young ranch girl riding the school bus caught his eye. While on a trip to Florida in 2022 with his daughters, Peggy and Mary, he related a story of the first time he’d ever seen their mother, Ellen. It was in the seventh grade, and he said, “As she got on the school bus, it was like I heard angels singing.”

Services will be held April 24th at 4 p.m. in the Rock Creek Cemetery, west of Haines, followed by a potluck/wake at the Stevenson residence.

As a wife, mother, and grandmother, Liz was a force of nature who placed the needs of others before her own. Liz enjoyed cooking for her family and warmly welcomed anyone who stopped by the house in need of a meal or a place to stay. She had a special gift for making people feel cared for, possessed an indomitable spirit, and will be remembered for her thoughtfulness and quick wit

A Rosary will be held at St. Francis Cathedral in Baker City, Oregon, on May 16, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in Baker City. A luncheon will be served in the basement of St. Francis Cathedral following the graveside service.

Doni was known for her love of books, quick wit, cutthroat Pinochle skills, and, of course, the side eye that she taught to every generation of grandchildren. Her gentle soul was loved by everyone she met (except slow drivers in Phoenix).

Recitation of The Rosary will be said on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 9:30 am in St. Francis de Sales Cathedral in Baker City. Mass of Christian Burial will follow in the Cathedral at 10:00 am. Reverend Suresh Telagani of St. Francis will celebrate the Mass.

Diane had a fondness for Pepsi, delighted in collecting porcelain dolls, and treasured her cherished Hummel figurines. Diane enjoyed settling in to watch a good soap opera, episodes of Walker, Texas Ranger, and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs during football season.

Nancy lived life to the fullest. She didn't know a stranger, and everyone loved her. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the apple of her eye! She loved watching all of their sporting events and was a big fan of the Baker Bulldogs and the Boise Broncos.
