Earl taught his children his love for hunting and fishing, creating wonderful memories in the mountains. He instilled in them the importance of family, a strong work ethic, and always doing the right thing. Earl was proud of his grandchildren and cherished the time he spent with them.

A funeral service will be at Coles Tribute Center, 1950 Place St., Baker City, OR 97814, on Thursday, October 30th, at 11:00 am, with a Celebration of Life following the service at the Baker Elks Lodge, 1896 2nd St., Baker City, OR 97814.

Certified as a master gardener, he had sixteen apple trees in the back of his house, called “Keith’s Little Orchard.” At one time, he had 55 different varieties of apples growing on those sixteen trees, and also fifteen different varieties of stone fruit on three plum trees.

A funeral service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Monday, October 6, 2025, beginning at 1:00 PM. A vault interment will follow the service at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
