A funeral service will be held at the North Powder Old Gym on May 2, 2026, beginning at 12 noon, with Pastor Lennie Spooner officiating. He will be interred at the North Powder Cemetery after the funeral service. A reception will follow the funeral service and interment at the North Powder Fire Station.

Hard work became a part of Anton’s life at the age of 13, when he helped support his family. That strong work ethic remained evident throughout his life. Even in his final days, his remarkable organization and attention to detail reflected the discipline and care with which he lived.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 1, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Francis Cathedral in Baker City, Oregon, followed by graveside services at Mt. Hope Cemetery. A luncheon will be provided at the church afterward.

One of the great loves of his life was The Gulch, where he spent countless hours creating a beautiful park-like gathering place for family and friends. It became the setting for years of celebrations and treasured memories. He also loved his boat, fishing, and spending time with his siblings, whom he cherished deeply.

Carol spent much of her life caring for her home and family, and also worked in the food industry, including at Baker Truck Corral. She found joy in the simple things: working in her yard, planting flowers, camping with her family, and watching Cops & Robbers on television. Above all, she loved being with her family and took great pride in the life she built around them.

A graveside service will be held on June 5, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Baker City, Oregon, with Pastor Garth Johnson of the Agape Church officiating.
