Baker Family Strength Initiative (formerly Male Initiative) met last night. These leaders are committed to enhance family engagement through community programs. Our next meeting is Thursday March 14 at 6:30pm. Supporters of this consists collaborative consists of local civil leaders, school officials and public servants. We like acknowledge Mr. Kevin Sherman of National Fatherhood Initiative and New Orleans Healthy Start Program for relentless support.
We support the the effort of Attorney Christopher Dassua to sponsor The Conference for Men, Boys and Women Who Love Them. The Conference date is March 29th at 6 pm . Location is the Baker Municipal Building.

We would like to invite you to the Male Initiative Meeting that will be held on Thursday Evening, March 7,2019 at 6:30pm. The location is 2944 Ray Weiland Drive in Baker.
The emphasis of the meeting is pulling men of the Baker community together to focus strengthening the family. We proposed increasing partnerships with churches, schools, social and political groups to embrace mentoring and parenting education.
