We promote spiritual healing and relaxation through the use of the drum.

Introducing everyone to the art and rhythm of drumming allows us to speak to each other through music and movement, leading the path to a better understanding of each other. We teach workshops on frame drum making, facilitate recreational music making for all age groups, and do vibrational drum healing.

This morning, Thom Dandridge had a medical procedure that involves a wire lead implanted temporarily into the sacral nerve in his spine which is attached to a small battery taped to his body. He has been restricted to the movements he is allowed to make. Sadly, one of those movements is bending over Beverly to play. So, we will not be creating with Jan at Stone Soup ISC this Sunday for meditation. We apologize for this late notice, however we are working a date in January to make this happen. Sending out lots of big hugs and good vibes to everyone. ♥️

Happy New Year to everyone! Thom and I will be back in Baker tomorrow for a week. We know we have been kind of non-existent this year due to medical issues and a little bit of travel. Lots of people have asked when we would be doing “something “ out at the Pathdrummer Homestead.

Well, now is the time! On Sunday, January 7 from noon until 4:00 p.m. everyone is welcome to come and hang out. We will have a fire in the fire pit and hugs to share. Here are the “rules” 😂

* It will be chilly so dress appropriately for outside. 🥶
* Bring a chair because we have none at this time. 🪑
* Bring what you want to drink (no alcohol please). Basically we have water to offer. 🧋
* Bring your drum or other instrument, if you have them. 🪘
* Be ready to have a good time. 😁

We are excited to be able to see whoever shows up. We have missed everyone! ♥️

“No evidence of metastatic disease in the brain.” This was good to hear this morning. Sitting at Shands and waiting on Thom Dandridge to be called back for his endoscopy.

A lot has gone on this year in our lives, and especially in the last 2 months. We have transferred Thom to an oncologist at Shands because he deserves the best care. With that being said, a lot has happened and will continue to happen as we continue his cancer journey. Today he had brain CT and tomorrow he has an endoscopy scheduled. At the end of January he begins the steps toward a month of targeted radiation treatments to hopefully eradicate all of the cancer cells from his body. His team of doctors feel there is a good chance for him and we are truly hoping it will all work. He has faced everything that has been thrown at him for the last 2 1/2 years like a rock star. Even though he has been “in remission “ this only meant that the cancer hadn’t spread. It wasn’t getting better, just being held at bay.

So, with that being said, if you have it in your heart to send him some positive thoughts, energy, prayers, and just plain old good juju, I know he would really appreciate it and so would I. We know these next 3 months will be quite challenging. We know we have a wonderful support system of friends and family to help us through everything he will be facing and we are quite grateful. Our love and gratitude go out to you all. ♥️

Many of you are familiar with Beverly, our large healing drum. The drum maker and our mentor, Bob Lawson, passed away earlier this year and his wife Carol has a shop full of drum frames, drum hides and many other drum making supplies. If you are interested in purchasing any of these supplies, please message us here at Pathdrummer or my personal page, Judy Reagan Dandridge so I can send you her phone number. We purchased a few, however there is a HUGE shop full of items. Help her out as she begins the process of getting the last of Bob’s drums out into into the world.
