Honored and excited to be an Impact Woman of the Year Nominee 💙

My campaign will educate, bring awareness, and empower our community with knowledge that saves lives. Every person I reach has the power to reach at least 10 more—and that ripple effect is the impact I’m committed to making during this 9-week campaign. ❤️

This mission is deeply personal. Heart disease has plagued my family for generations—my mother suffered from arrhythmias resulting in a pacemaker and Coronary Artery Disease which led to a triple bypass, my grandmother living with diabetes, and three generations affected by hypertension. I’ve seen firsthand what this disease can do, both personally and professionally. As a cardiac nurse for 8 years, a CPR instructor for 5 years, and now the owner of a CPR training site, this work has always been my calling.

It has always been, and will always be, about the community for me. I’m grateful for the opportunity to bring awareness on a greater platform—and I’m ready to make an impact. 🌹

February is Heart Health Month, and at Rosebud, this work is personal and purposeful.

Our CEO, Vikki, is a proud advocate and partner with the Association and a 2026 Capital Area Woman of Impact Nominee, using her voice, leadership, and platform to help raise awareness around cardiovascular health in our community.

Heart disease remains the leading cause of death in the United States, impacting nearly 1 in every 5 deaths each year. Nearly half of all adults live with some form of cardiovascular risk factor, including high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or heart disease itself. These numbers remind us why education, prevention, and access to care matter.

At Rosebud, we believe healthcare is more than treatment, it is awareness, advocacy, and action. From educating our students to partnering with trusted organizations and hosting community-focused initiatives, we are committed to promoting heart-healthy lifestyles and empowering individuals to take charge of their cardiovascular wellness.

This month and beyond, we’re shining a light on heart health because strong hearts build strong families, strong caregivers, and strong communities.

At Rosebud Training Academy, we believe in preparing the next generation of healthcare caregivers through hands-on learning and real-life experience. Our CNA program goes beyond the classroom, allowing students to see, serve, and understand the impact of healthcare work in real community settings.

As a certified proprietary school, Rosebud Training Academy is committed to providing high-quality education that meets professional standards while remaining deeply connected to the communities we serve.
