It serves as the bridge between the lower, more physical chakras and the higher, spiritual ones.

Its associated color is green and its element is air.

When your heart chakra is balanced and open, you feel connected, compassionate, and joyful.

When it's blocked, you might experience feelings of loneliness, bitterness, or an inability to trust.
