2025 was a wild ride.
Great changes, forks in the road, obstacles and tension at times. But out of it came a whole lot of growth, resilience and a strong push forward.

With the sun rising on 2026, we’re reminded that the road ahead is bright, steady, and full of possibility. Where the map shows all roads leading to the heart of town, let UrbanCore continue to be a destination on your journey toward wellness, clarity, and fulfillment. Your retreat away from the incessant droning at work or the pull of home, we hold space for you to process, move, sweat, breathe, and get centered— right in the center of Bakersfield.

We’re incredibly proud of the hundreds of you who’ve stepped onto the mat with us this year—choosing to show up, do the work, invest in yourself and embrace the space you need to be your truest, most individual self. And we’re forever grateful for our crew of instructors who share their diverse and innovative practices that guide you to reach beyond your limits.

Ground & Grow: Embodied Asana + Inner Healing Yoga

Join Kevin and Drew for a 75 minute collaborative yoga experience that weaves together embodied movement and emotional healing.

Drew will guide the class through a grounding dharma talk, pranayama, and intention setting, followed by a mindful heart-centered asana flow led by Kevin with hands-on support from Drew.

The practice will close with a guided inner child healing meditation led by Drew to help you reconnect with your inner landscape, release stored emotion, and return to a deeper sense of self.

Inner Healing Yoga:
A gentle practice of breathwork, movement, and reflection to deepen self-awareness and connection.

Healing begins within, but we are never meant to do it alone. This class offers a space to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect—with yourself, with others, and with the present moment. Through gentle yoga, pranayama (breathwork), and moments of reflection, you’ll support nervous system regulation, inner healing, and deeper connection. Each class is guided by a thoughtful theme, offering an opportunity to set intentions and explore movement as a form of personal growth. Through this practice, you’ll release tension, soften the mind, and return to what feels true. Whether seeking restoration, clarity, or grounding, this class welcomes you just as you are—no experience needed, just an open heart.
