Person Centered Planning

At AIMES Consulting (AIMES SLS) and AIMES Homes we employ a person centered approach in everything we do. That includes Person Centered Planning. What's that mean?

Person Centered Planning is a process-oriented approach to empowering people with disability labels. It focuses on the people and their needs by putting them in charge of defining the direction for their lives, not on the systems that may or may not be available to serve them.

Do you know how to help someone in crisis?

It can be intimidating talking to someone who is going through a mental health crisis or seriously considering su***de. However, sometimes all a person needs in that situation is one person being there, helping them access the help they need. You can be that person.
