LASTING SOLUTIONS…
Today we gathered in faith and celebration for the groundbreaking ceremony of our new kitchen and transitional housing! 🙌

This future space will allow us to serve more meals, provide safe housing, and create learning centers that equip our neighbors for lasting change.

⚠️ While construction is just beginning, we see this as a powerful step of God’s provision and the hope He is building in Kern County. Thank you for praying with us and standing alongside The Mission as we continue to be the hands and feet of Jesus to those in need.

We’re joining a national conversation around homelessness. On October 9-10, Carlos Baldovinos will sit on a bench—rain or shine—for 24 hours to listen, talk, and share with our community.

🚨 It’s part of Conversations on a Bench, a Citygate Network event taking place in dozens of cities across North America. The goal? To reflect the love of God and create space for honest conversations about homelessness, addiction, and mental health. We’re hopeful this event helps shift hearts and spread the hope of Christ in our city.

🗓️ Mark your calendar to tune in live and see what happens when a community listens, loves, and leans into tough conversations. What do you want to know about homelessness? Drop your questions in the comments below.

🧡 Meet Kenny
"Before coming to the Mission, I was a hopeless drug addict following in the painful footsteps of my father—trapped in addiction, shame, and brokenness.

I didn’t want to live the life I was living, but I didn’t know how to change. When I walked through the doors of The Mission, everything shifted. Through their program, I found not just sobriety, but healing, purpose, and a relationship with Jesus Christ that changed my life. Today, I serve as a case manager, helping other men find the same hope I did. I’m living proof that recovery is possible. If my story moves you, I hope you’ll support The Mission so more lives can be transformed like mine."
