He completed his Residency in Family Practice with St. John's Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit, MI and currently works in Ba
kersfield, California and Tehachapi, California in a federally qualified health center. When it comes to patient care he strives to be the "typical, jack of all trades" Family Physician. He sees patients of all age groups and enjoys doing procedures including cortisone injections, cyst removals, abscess I&Ds, lipoma removals, IUDs, Nexplanon and much more! Dr. Munnainathan earned first place for his Senior residency research project on improving patient logging in residency. He created and sold an online patient logging system that is still in use today. This is to say that Dr. Munnainathan is well versed in both Family Medicine and Computer Programming. Originally from Toronto, Ontario (Canada), Dr. Munnainathan enjoys living in Bakersfield with his wife. He enjoys outdoor activities including hiking, rock climbing and travelling. He also enjoys movies, TV shows, and video games. He has many hobbies and interests and is always aiming to learn new things.
