The concept of A3 started off as a simple one: make a facility that was open to everyone, regardless of ability, economic status, or experience, as well as a place that provides athletes the BEST athletic performance training in existence, with the ultimate goal of increasing HEATLH, FITNESS, and PERFORMANCE for EVERYONE.
Owner Ryan Beckwith first had this dream (and completed his thesis project on it) when he was pursuing his Master of Education Degree at the University of Georgia. He wanted to create a learning center founded on science-based educational principles that encouraged anyone and everyone to feel comfortable in the pursuit of their personal goals. Ryan explains, “I was fortunate enough to compete in sports in college and decided that I needed to pay if forward.”
Thus, A3 was born. From the day to day operations providing its members the most progressive fitness approach around, to the 501(c)(3) non-profit that provides education, inspiration, and competition to athletes of all levels and abilities, EVERYONE is welcome here and crafting better athletes is what we do.
The nonprofit Athletes’ Advantage Academy, Inc. was always part of the dream, with an original mission to provide student athletes who have aspirations of going to college, but not necessarily the financial means to afford elite performance training services, with a place to receive the best sports performance training, mentorship, and education in order to prepare them for collegiate sports and success beyond college.
In addition to providing some of the most progressive athletic performance solutions around, we recognize that elite-level athleticism also requires character. We teach all of our athletes leadership skills, integrity, and personal development.
You’ll catch Ryan at A3 on most days and at all hours. Wife Kalli Beckwith helps behind the scenes with A3 and is also the Executive Director of Athletes’ Advantage Academy. Together, share this passion and are on a mission to make an impact in our community. We are especially grateful for the amazing A3 team and its supporters, members, and this tremendous community that have made a dream come to life!
