Hospice Quality Assurance Position – Remote (California-Based Company)
A California-based hospice company is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist with a strong hospice background. The ideal candidate must have expertise in HospiceMD, certification periods, Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) meetings, and Certification of Terminal Illness (CTI). Additionally, the candidate should be proficient in nursing, medical social work (MSW), and physician documentation quality assurance.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Extensive hospice experience with a strong understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in HospiceMD for documentation review and quality assurance.
• Knowledge of certification periods, IDT processes, and CTI requirements.
• Ability to assess and ensure quality standards in nursing, MSW, and physician documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and correct discrepancies.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with the hospice team.
• Work-from-home position – must have a reliable internet connection, a computer or laptop with a working video camera and microphone for virtual meetings and training.
