To the man who started it all…Phil Phelps. Phil started GSD in 1977 from the ground up. He was heavily involved in the day to day operations all the way up to the very end of his life. Phil was widely regarded as one of the hardest working men to ever work in the oilfields. You could routinely find him in the middle of a mud pump with a wrench in his hands well into his 80s. Phil enjoyed nothing more than working and spending time with the GSD group, all of whom he considered to be family. He will never know how many families were touched as a result of his hard work and sacrifices. We miss him dearly!! 👍
