2020 has been a wild ride! Our family spent our Christmas in quarantine due to COVID-19 and we are still working on getting everyone well. While this year has been unprecedented, 2020 made us a family of 4 and encouraged us to make a big decision for our family—an out-of-state move! Come January, we will be relocating to Bend, OR. I will miss the wonderful community here in Bakersfield, but I am so excited for this new adventure! If you have questions regarding the Bringing Baby Home program, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Due to the pandemic, many educators are offering this wonderful workshop online, and I would be happy to point you in the right direction if you’re looking to participate in a class. Be well and keep taking care of yourselves ❤️

We welcomed this sweet boy into the world on 5/17/20. We are officially a family of 4! We are adjusting to the sleep deprivation associated with having a newborn and enjoying watching our 3 year old interact with his new baby brother. It’s definitely a big adjustment, but we’re so in love with our new little guy 💙💙💙

Starting today, May 1, 2020, am on maternity leave! We’ll be spending the next few weeks preparing to become a family of 4. I won’t be posting here much, as my focus will be elsewhere, but I look forward to offering more Bringing Baby Home groups in the future! ❤️ 📷 credit: .little.pixels

Hope everyone is doing okay out there! While necessary, I know the stay at home order is tough on us all, but we’re doing our best to stay sane! My husband’s job is considered essential, so he’s still working, although he’s been able to adjust his hours and be home more during this time of uncertainty. While he was at work today, my toddler and I went for an hour long walk/scooter ride with our dog, played trains and hot wheels, made cookies and watched Curious George on Hulu. What are you guys doing to take care of yourselves and your kiddos during this time???

After a great deal of consideration, we have made the decision to cancel our March 28-29th Bringing Baby Home workshop at Unfortunately, there are a lot of things out of our control right now, so we’re choosing to focus on what we can control, which is practicing social distancing and keeping ourselves, our families, our friends and our community members safe to the best of our ability. We want only the best for all those around us as our community weathers these uncertain times. Hugs and warm thoughts to all ❤️

Hi all, just wanted to touch base and say that I hope everyone is managing the stress and anxiety associated with our current health crisis to the best of their ability. I know the uncertainty of our current days is a lot to take in. We’re doing our best to just take it day by day. As of now, we are still planning to hold our March 28-29 workshop. However, to limit group size and assure the safety of all of our participants, we will be closing registration at this time ❤️

So much truth in this statement! We prepare to welcome a beautiful new life into our family without realizing how much it’s going to change our lives and change us as people. Something I wish I would have known when my first son was born. When a new baby is born, so is a new mother and father. It’s okay for it to take time to adjust ❤️
