🐎🔥 Giddy up into 2026 — the Year of the Fire Horse! 🔥🐎
At Magnolia Place Senior Living, we welcomed the Chinese New Year with energy, joy, and LOTS of festive fun! The Year of the Fire Horse symbolizes passion, independence, and vibrant spirit — and that’s exactly how we celebrated! ❤️✨
Our community was dazzled by talented dancers performing beautiful traditional routines, including the colorful ribbon dance — and yes, our residents jumped right in to join the fun! The room was filled with movement, laughter, and plenty of Fire Horse flair!
We also enjoyed a delicious traditional Chinese meal 🥢🍜 and wrapped up the celebration by cracking open our fortune cookies 🥠 — smiles all around as we read our fortunes for the year ahead!
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us to ring in the Lunar New Year. 🧧🎉 We wish you all a happy, healthy, and prosperous 2026! May the Year of the Fire Horse bring you energy, adventure, and endless joy! 🐎🔥✨

Today at Magnolia Place Senior Living, we came together in faith and reflection as we observed Ash Wednesday.
We are incredibly grateful to Saint Phillips Church for visiting our community to provide ashes to our residents and staff. Your presence made this day even more special and meaningful.

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the Lenten season — a time of prayer, reflection, and renewal. For many of our residents, this tradition holds deep spiritual significance, and we are honored to help continue these important moments of faith within our community.

Thank you again to Saint Phillips Church for taking the time to spend with us and support our residents in such a heartfelt way. ✝️

🏅❄️ The Olympic spirit is alive and well at Magnolia Place Senior Living! ❄️🏅
As the world gears up for the excitement of the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan & Cortina d’Ampezzo, we decided to bring the competition home with our very own Magnolia Place Senior Living Winter Games! 🇮🇹✨

Our incredible residents have been showing off their strength, teamwork, and competitive spirit in a variety of fun events, including:

🔥 Torch Walk around the community (yes, we carried our very own “Olympic” torch!)
🏁 Walker Races
🏒 Air Hockey Showdowns
🏐 Volleyball Games
♿ Wheelchair Races
…and plenty of friendly competition in between!

The laughter, cheering, and team spirit have been absolutely contagious. We may not be competing on the world stage, but here at Magnolia Place Senior Living, our athletes are GOLD medalists every single day! 🥇💛

We are so proud of our residents for embracing the Olympic spirit — perseverance, camaraderie, and a little healthy competition. Let the games continue! ❄️🎉

We celebrated Fat Tuesday in true Louisiana style—with all the traditional fun! Our community came alive with festive beads, great music, and a delicious Louisiana-inspired lunch that had everyone smiling from ear to ear. 🎶🍤🎉
A huge shoutout to our incredibly creative chef for bringing the flavors (and the flair!) to the table. We just love how much fun we have with our dining experiences—it’s never just a meal, it’s a celebration! 🥳🍽️

Family Bingo Night at Magnolia Place Senior Living was a HUGE success — and oh what fun we had! 💛
From the first number called to the final “BINGO!” shout, the room was full of laughter, friendly competition, and big smiles. 🎯🎊 And let’s talk about those prizes… total crowd-pleasers! 🏆🎁 Everyone walked away a winner in fun and memories!
We loved seeing our residents and their families come together for this classic game night. Nothing beats a little bingo, a lot of laughs, and time spent with the people who matter most. 💕
