We understand that our upcoming event has raised some concerns within the community. We want to assure you that our goal is to foster community connections and provide a fun, respectful environment for families. The event will be held in the parking lot, ensuring that no one will be sitting on or occupying any grave spaces. We also want to emphasize that such events are not uncommon in cemeteries across the nation. While this is a new initiative for our cemetery, we believe it will be a positive experience for everyone involved.
In response to community feedback, we have decided to change the second film we planned to show. Instead of “The Conjuring,” we will be screening the classic “Bride of Frankenstein.”
We deeply respect the memories of those interred in our cemetery and are committed to honoring that legacy. Again, this event will be held in a way that is considerate and mindful of the space, ensuring that all activities take place in appropriate areas. This event is not intended for profit but as a way to bring joy and togetherness to our community. We appreciate all feedback and encourage open dialogue. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns.
Thank you for your understanding and support.
