Valley baptist celebrate recovery just announced- We have a special announcement. Starting Thursday April 23rd our Welcome Home group will be meeting as part of our Celebrate Recovery meeting. So, we will have our normal meeting, and offer Welcome Home as a small group along with the men's and women's groups. Spread the word, Welcome Home is moving to Thursday night! (The best place to be on a Thursday night!)

Saturday April 4th, 2026 is testimony night and chip night. Joining us from the oaks community church to share her testimony is Kat.

Worship and Large Group begins at 6:15pm

Saturday 3/7/26 is chip night. Come celebrate with us!!!

Its testimony night. Joining us this Saturday is on of our childcare workers Tina. We all struggle with different things and testimonies are a great way to relate and be related to. Come hear her testimony about how God taught her about forgiveness and forgiving. Can't wait!

We have the landing for our Jr high and high school kids. And celebration place for pre-recovery for the younger kids.
Childcare available to participating adults.

Dinner is at 5:30pm in the gym.

This Saturday at 2pm we are having a workshop on how to write your testimony. If you're stuck on how or need a little nudge, motivation and inspiration come join us in the gym. We are excited to have Garrett as our guest trainer. Invite everyone you know. All are welcome. If you've graduated a step study and haven't written or shared your testimony this might be just what you need. Maybe its time to write a new one as you enter a new season. There is new material that was just released at last year's summit. Join us Saturday in the gym at Bakersfield First Assembly. No matter what CR you attend you are welcome to join us.

Happy February!! This month we have a training being led by Garrett. So excited. He will be giving a training February 28th at Bakersfield First Assembly at 2pm all about how to write your testimony. Even if you have written one come join us. Its a good refresher even if you are just updating an old testimony. As we grow each season our testimonies change. If you have recently graduated a step study I encourage you to join us. This class is put together special for you. Help guide you in any way so you aren't stuck after step study graduation. If you've never given a testimony and dont know where to even begin writing it join us. This training is open to all CRs so please share and spread the word. We want to see all our past graduates succeed and grow through writing and sharing their testimony. Help us spread the word. Saturday February 28th at 2pm in the gym.
